• December ushers in winter holidays such as Christmas, Kwanzaa, and Hanukkah. It is also a time when families gather in the warmth of their homes. During the twelfth and final month of the year, December inspires a flurry of activities like, shopping, family gatherings, school holidays, baking, and seasonal changes that remind us of the past while we look to the future.

• December is a big baking month for many. In the United States, families, churches, schools, and organizations bake cookies to exchange.

• Whatever you have planned and wherever you are, we wish you a Happy Holiday Season and New Year!

Here are some interesting facts about me:

• I was born and raised in Torrance, California.

• I graduated from Torrance High School.

• I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Cal State Northridge.

• I have been happily married to my sweetheart, Gayle, for over 44 years.

• Our family is blessed with 6 children, their spouses,9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

• During my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, gardening, and spending quality time with my family.

• I have served as the Director and Past Chair of the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce, now known as the West Ventura County Business Alliance.

• I have also been a Director and Past Chair of Goodwill Industries for Ventura & Santa Barbara Counties.

• Member of Peace Lutheran Church in Camarillo.

• I have been actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America as a previous Scoutmaster and Cubmaster.

• I have also managed and coached youth sports teams.
